Good news, maybe he'll take his followers with him and leave the rest of us with something we can vote for.

Onward to victory, etc.
Corbyn's response isn't unexpected. How can he stand as a Labour candidate if he's had the whip removed? Clutching at straws, hopefully, Naomi.
I think Sir Beer is doing the right thing for his party. Yes Agent Cob is not the only anti Semite terrorist loving anti Brit in Labour but he is a well known by the public one and to allow him to represent Labour would be an error. Cob can always stand as an independent and let the voters decide.
He can still stand, in fact he may well win unfortunately
COB is like a bad smell that just wont go away for labour.

Much as I hate to say it, as it is making labour more electable, I believe Sir Kier is doing the right thing. It's nothing to do with being anti democracy, if anything it is being democratic as it certainly appears most labour MP's and their voters back Sir Kier. I could be wrong on that of course - before the usual pile in.
He may well do Ich, but thats part of freedom of choice.

Wont say a lot for his constituents though will it?
He'll probably win as an independent if he wears a white suit
Of course it is.
Corbyn’s point is that it’s denying the local members their choice of candidate, but what did he expect after being suspended from the PLP?
I think he's right
people still using "agent cob" i notice when that actually turned out not to be true
Who is right, COB or Sir Kier?
I think Jeremy Corbyn is right
Very true, that the name was used. He turned out not to be an agent but the name was there.
was it? Or was that made up by the same person?
Let him stand as a Communist - that's more his home. He could also return to Prague....
Ah the commie reveals himself. Not surprised.

Wouldn't it be better for COB and his supporters like you to join the Communist Party or similar rather than hijack another party?
He had the Labour whip taken away, quite rightly, as he brought the party into disrepute with his comments over antisemitism.
Sir Keir is showing leadership by underlining and confirming that.
Good for him.
i am not a communist... you continue to say i am when i have said before i am not

the people who actually keep the archives say corbyn was never even registered by their intelligence services and have called the person who made these claims a liar... so he couldn't have had a codename

My issue with Starmer is that he ALWAYS supported Corbyn when he was in his shadow cabinet, while the rest of thinking voters (of all persuasions) could see trees in the wood. How can you trust him now?
Corbyn will not be allowed to stand as labour, he will stand as anything else and will be elected by the peoples republic of Islington. QED
If he's not in the Labour Party - is he or was he kicked out?, (genuine question) he can't stand as a Labour MP surely.
