We know. It's an everyday occurrence there.
It's all very upsetting.
I've come to the conclusion that 90% of Americans need to take courses in anger management. Gun control is just a dream.
And my god...her poor family! Her younger brother was shot several days previously.
It’s a different culture and a different place.
They will never change no matter how many innocent women, children, men and schoolchildren are nassacredd.
We can just pity them, and be thankful we don’t live in their rotten country.
On Friday evening, in a fairly small town in the Borders where I used to live, a woman shot her husband in their home and people are asking "where did she get a gun"? Have they not heard of the Internet?
God bless America!
Gromit ...there are still lots of good people living in that "rotten country" as you call it.
Do you know for sure she bought her gun on the internet?
In rural communities, or inner city communities in the UK, buying a firearm is fairly easy, a lot easier than importing one or going through Amazon.

I saw a 3D laser printed gun about a year ago, but I was not convinced it was a viable weapon.
Pastafreak,
There were 648 mass shooting incidents in the USA last year.
Clearly something is very wrong.
She probably Dissed….disrespected the cretin without knowing her life would be forfeit. Anger, without morals, reaction without thought of consequence, stupidity encouraged by enablement.
Easy access to firearms is clearly the problem.
Anywhere else in the world, you exchange words with someone. In America, you end their life over something really trivial.
How do you think I feel Gromit...seeing endless headlines all the same? Comments on here...all the same? I know people can't help but judge. I hurt reading this...and a corner of me has to believe there are still normal people living and going about their day to day lives.
Sorry...I'm just feeling generally crappy right now. Needed to vent.
Pasta, I think we all feel for the US and where it is heading. There does not seem to be an answer.
I have family that live in America so I take no pleasure or moral superiority from such incidents.
But they need to stop the supply of weapons. It is not rocket science, but the gun lobby seem to always win over commonsense.
Gromit 20.23/ Don't know where she aquired a gun . was just quoting the Internet ..... I know one can purchase a firearm at several shops in the city and even in local sporting/shooting shops.
Michael Moore in his film "Bowling for Columbine" - hit the nail on the head when he compared Canada with the US, just as many guns but no where near the level of incidents. One word, fear, Americans are terrified and terrified people lash out first and ask questions later.
Hazlinny, you can buy a gun no questions asked at, what we would call a car boot sale.
TTT...@20:45...appreciate the thought x
"Anywhere else in the world, you exchange words with someone. In America, you end their life over something really trivial." That's a very unfair generalization of the USA and you clearly have never been to the Caribbean, they value life there far less than Americans do. I doubt most of South America is much better either.
Prudie,
OK, Jamaica is worse than the US.
But your point is rather mute. Senseless ending of innocent lives by guns is not a point scoring exercise. TheUS has this very wrong, and the civilised world knows that.
