Of course it's true, untitled. What's to stop say, a gay man, from a country where his lifestyle presents a danger to him, buying a flight to Heathrow and once there following government advice by presenting himself to the border guards and claiming asylum? Nothing. It makes you wonder why all those boat people pay thousands of pounds for the crossing when, if they're genuine, a £50 ticket on Ryanair would do nicely.
