Georgian Revolution Averted?
After two nights of protests in Tbilisi, the storming of the Parliament building, and at least one gunshot fired at protesters, Georgia’s government says it will not proceed with the controversial Foreign Agents law, which the president says she will veto anyway.
Ironically tho former president Saakachvili, now languishing in prison, decreased presidential powers when he was in office.

The protesters in Georgia are afraid that the Foreign Agents law will enable the government to clamp down on dissent.
It's nothing to do with anything in Brazil or the US.
I am not going to bore people who I am sure are not interested in the ons and outs of Georgian politics.
