He sounds very confident today, c0cky, even. I hope his contract is terminated. Not the first time he has forgotten the BBC's impartiality guideline:

The issue could be referring to 'guidelines'.

Mr Lineker could be within his rights to turn round and say "I prefer not to be guided, thank you."

It needs to be stated in contracts that the BBC will decide what if any social media content impinges on its role as an impartial broadcaster, and act accordingly.

Then everyone knows where they are.

Whilst I think Gary Lineker is acting foolish with his inexplicable views, I don't see a person's religion has anything to do with it. It just gives Gary the opportunity to say that in that case all the more reason for Suella Braverman to reconsider her policies.

This sort of thing is best ignored. Let fools fantasise whatever they like; it isn't related to reality. We've had enough of that sort of deliberate misrepresentation here today without considering it occurring elsewhere.
