France has been very unstable at grass-roots level for many, many years now. OK it is 8 years since we left, but I'll vouch for the passions and the 'Fraternite' bit under pressure.
I did say before that I would watch with interest. Still waiting to see if the farmers are joining in with their loads of manure to dump. I think it can be assumed that this time they are really, really cheesed off.

10 days of riots, up until Wed, in Paris and still nothing on our "main news".

Why would that not be "newsworthy" for the people of Britain? Or is it supposed to be hushed up like the vicars peccadillo?
Then 5 of the main banks in France raided in another investigation into tax evasion and money laundering in the EUSSR. Is this the bribe money that is handed out in suitcases to the corrupt eeyoo MEPs for rinsing?

We apparently can't call the French the English translation of Les Grenouilles cos it is liable to upset them but we can in French. Haha talk about nickers in a twist. Can we call em Park Benches instead? :))
