Thatcher
It is now 10 years since Thatcher died. She was enabled into power by the SNP back in 1979.I wonder if any of the SNPers on here now regret their choice?

Without a single shadow of a doubt, easily the best PM ever. The way she turned this country around was utterly masterful, and we will forever be in her debt for doing so. She was brilliant.

//on the 1979 no-confidence vote on Jim Callaghans government, did the SNP vote alongside Thatcher and her fascist reactionaries or did they align themselves with the socialism of Callaghans government"?//
Two things stand out from the above. (1) You keep on asking a question to which the answer is a matter of public record (and you have already been given the same answer at least twice on here). (2) You’ve no idea of the definition of “fascist” is, let alone “fascist reactionaries.”
//Might have done,TCL.Considering the SNP were going on about how all the SNP were against Brexit. Now answer my question above.//
There is no “might” about it. Corby has demonstrated at least three times on AB (and I believe I did once) that if all the SNP supporters who you say voted to Leave voted instead to Remain the result of the referendum would still have been to leave the EU.
I really don’t know where you are going with this. The SNP MPs voting with the motion of No Confidence in 1979 hardly changed the course of UK history. At best they delayed it for six months. In any case that was over forty years ago. In more recent times the SNP voters who voted to leave similarly did not change the course of history.
//@19.36.Do you also agree that the SNP enabled Thatcher into power. That Thatcherism is/was basically a SNP construction?//
Don’t be ridiculous. Mrs Thatcher would have come to power with or without the SNP. She would have come to power even if the SNP had not existed. All they did at best (and that is arguable) is delayed it by a few months.
//@19.43.I certainly will.English Tories and Scottish SNPers. The two main Brexiteer parties in the UK.//
The people to “blame” for Brexit are those who voted for it and it has been demonstrated to you that they were not split along party lines. You began your question by highlighting that Mrs Thatcher died ten years ago. Perhaps more relevant Is that she left office 32 years ago. But more important even than that (certainly as far as your question goes) is that the SNP had no influence in her coming to power, little or no influence over her leaving office and little or no influence over the result of the referendum. You may see SNP supporters as hypocrites firstly for voting with Mrs Thatcher in 1979 and then moaning about her for the next twelve years (and beyond, as all Thatcher-haters seem to do) and then for voting to leave the EU and then moaning about that. But so what? You seem to have become almost obsessive about it. Time to move on, methinks.
