Not in the slightest, teen vaping needs to be addressed. Mark my words, one day they will turn round and say vaping is more dangerous to health than tobacco smoking,
Tobacco harm reduction encouraging adult smokers to use e-cigarettes is supported by the UK Government, the MHRA and NICE, as well as by leading UK health organisations including ASH.
Won’t restricting sales just encourage young people to go for the harmful fags?
re vaping from the US "The biggest problem is that we don’t know exactly what goes into all the flavorings, and there are thousands of them. Experts say it could take 20 years to know the long-term health effects of vaporizing"
But the UK Government’s policy is to encourage it.
Are 17 yo vapers a major problem in society?
Do we need to spend £s and resources on enforcement squads made up of trading standards officers to carry out test purchases and clamp down on shops selling vapes to under-18s?
Where does it say that the Government is dropping everything else to focus on teen vaping? This is just another serious matter that is being dealt with along with those that Gromit states in his question.
I guess they should be capable of doing more than one thing at a time, and dividing up available time & other resources appropriately.
They should be simply banning vaping for all. It's antisocial so trumps personal freedom; and it took long enough to curb most smoking without allowing evil folk with an eye for profit just to move in with something to fill the gap.
