........."Labour is now The Largest Party of Local Government"............
By contrast The Cons endured a devasting day ,losing over ,

...Well done Sir Keir. The Blues have got the runs.

If Boris does come back, he will help win the Election all right. .............But not for the Cons.
Because they don't have a snowflake in Hell's chance of accidentally getting real power. Well & truly so having become a non-entity after their antidemocratic behaviour after the referendum. At the very worst they could end up holding the balance of power (God forbid). But vote Labour and you risk getting who you actually voted for into government, and at present, while they have no regard for the masses, which is meant to be their raison d'etre, except to monitor/control them, force unpopular woke type policies through, and try to align with the EU and all that the EU demands, well that would be a major error, and embarrassment. Think of the guilt one would feel. Until they return to their core values Labour isn't a true left of centre party, they are too preoccupied with nonsense that is detrimental to the nation.

Greg Hands is also suggesting Starmer could reopen
Brexit talks, which might go in Starmers favour, now that the damage brexit has done to the UK has been revealed

@14.25.Thanks for that, gulliver.Perhaps we can get proper democratic socialism back into this country as opposed to the nationalism that both England and Scotland have been subjected to in the past few years.Surely there is a better way than the Tories or the SNPers.
Question Author
"The clear Blue water" is not so clear at the moment for the Cons. ...Time to take those Blinkers off.
Both the Tories and the SNP have been shown up to be a bunch of venal,self-serving bastrads.Perhaps its time they both got a kick up the asre.
Question Author
Looks to me like Boris's Red wall voters,
are going back to Labour.
Good, gulliver.Lets hope the SNP numpties will start voting for a socialist party rather than the nationalist haters and Anglophobes in the SNP.I wont hold my breath however.
//Perhaps we can get proper democratic socialism back into this country...//

As I was trying to post, YNNAFYMMI often takes the view that anyone posting a comment not fully in agreement with her opinion is completely opposed to that opinion.

You have pointed out the error in her belief that SNP voters are responsible for Brexit so in her mind, you MUST support the SNP.
