One for Gully - Rachel Reeves caught in flying in seat 3K, business class, to NY for dinner at the Harvard Club, cost £4000 and maybe even up to £8000. Hypocrisy from the Beer-Warmer minions IMO. Get things in balance please as your lot are far from squeaky clean...and they never have been.

As Brendan Clarke-smith MP for Bassetlaw, wherever that is, has said, "As always for Labour, it's one rule for them and one for everybody else."

so true....and a case of 'Do as I say, not as I do.'
Who wants to fly cattle class to NY? I always went First or business for work.

The only issue os of course the hypocrisy. And waht about the carbon rubbish they spout, or doesnt that matter if they are doing it?
Question Author
I agree on that - and even Concorde when it flew.....definitely hypocritc and certainly climatically not the thing to be doing - particularly for dinner and to have talks with Anzalone who helped sleepy Joe win the election over there.
So who paid for this and was it an official work trip?
NOT Paid for by the tax payer. OK.
She had the brass neck to tweet the tickets as well. Who in their right mind would want to do that? She quickly deleted the tweet probably after a quick text from Starmer.
Has she criticised people for flying first class?

I've never flown 1st class to NY: disgraceful :-)
Question Author
Prove it, Gully - At best by you Labour supporters, so a snub in the nose to the working man or woman or any other socialist gender.
///NOT Paid for by the tax payer. OK.//

Please enlighten me. How and by whom was it paid?
Who paid for the tickets is not really the issue at stake here is it?
They had Lisa Nandy on sky news this morning and she was complaining about Rishi flying here there and everywhere. Then she was asked about her flying business class to the North East. She just blamed the government for the train strikes and that it made more sense for her to travel that way. Bit two faced really.
Question Author
I'm not sure who flies business class anywhere domestically.....?
"Who paid for the tickets is not really the issue at stake here is it?" Well what else could the issue be - it can't be the climate issue because that would be the same wherever she sat in the plane.
