Covid Inquiry
Just wondering what sort of job Lady Hallett will make of it and at what cost*. Somehow I cannot imagine it will relieve the heartache and suffering of those who lost their loved ones, some of whom they could not visit and comfort.Top of the London News tonight and they mentioned the cost of the Grenfell Inquiry - £170m.

the inquiry has a history all by itself. The draft which began - "went the day quite well...." David Davis said "This is SO bad, it has to be done again". Hallett was wheeled out under a s81 (Coroners inquest but mega) and did a very good job.
If you recollect, no one went to help in the tunnels ( 'too dangerous'). Injured passengers made their way past 'helpers' and commented - "there are people dying down there"
Altho the injured walking wounded had made the comments, no one cd be found, who had heard, sat and not helped. Hallett found them.
Basically, she asked all the helpers " who was in front of you?". She eventually came to to men, who said that was no one in front of them. They were the head of the queue.
( and then the lying began in earnest, Jesus).
[Basically, if a bomb goes off near you, dont leave the injured as no one will go near them for at least an hour]
