While she is a serving MP as she has backtracked he resignation, her responsibility is to serving her constituents, not conducting enquiries into why she didn't get a peerage, all at the taxpayers expense as she his not devoting her time to her paid job. Can she be forced to resign?

Maybe she's born with it, maybe she's fey Nadine.
I just posted this re Boris Johnson, but it also applies to fragrant Nads ...

> But for all of us normal plebs, we see - yet again - that they don't work for you, no matter what they say ... they work for themselves.
If you happened to have the opportunity to learn the truth, wouldn't you, in that position, grab it ?
She can do her own enquiries, there is no reason for taxpayers' money to pay. Anyway, the Torygraph explained it very clearly for her:

The Telegraph understands from senior government sources that Mr Johnson had put the names of Mr Adams, Ms Dorries, Mr Sharma and Mr Jack to Holac.

However, the body ruled they could not be given peerages because they were outside the normal time limit of six months before a general election.

This was because any vetting carried out now would be deemed to be out of date by the time of the next election in 18 months time.

A note from Lord Bew, the Holac chairman, was submitted to this effect to 10 Downing Street, The Telegraph can disclose.

The ruling meant that the four names were not on the list which was given to Mr Sunak a week ago. It was left then for Mr Sunak to clear the remaining names on the list.

... this position was explained to Ms Dorries at length on Friday ...
One may have thought every name on Boris' list would have be struck off for the same reason then. Unless this wasn't the correct reason. Naw, that can't be the case can it.
I have noticed that Mad Nad and Glenda of splendour both came from Birkenhead - the Wirral.
One has died with dignity.
You do have a point.
She and Boris had a plan but Sunak scuppered it.
Now she is trying to engineer a by election in her own constituency, at a time that will be the most embarrassing and damaging to Rishi Sunak.
She is not a true Conservative, she belongs to a cult, and has no idea what she is doing.
Get back to your inferior Mills & Boon jottings asap.
A Tory put up a second, obsequiously sycophantic Tory a gong, and a third Tory denied it, with a reason.

Why should anyone else care? Especially, why would taxpayers' money pay have to get involved? Isn't it bad enough that she's paid for sod all already?
// One may have thought every name on Boris' list would have be struck off for the same reason then. //

Of course not. Just the sitting MPs.
