Remove the incentives that draw them here. This would include ALL payments, accommodatio n free phones etc. They are illegal entrants and entitled to nothing. If they land on our shores they must immediately be returned either to the last country they left, their country of origin, or a country that has agreed to take them, such as Rwanda. If the Government...

Fruit picking is not a difficult skill to learn. Most people could pick it up within half an hour. But farmers cannot recruit from the indigenous population and the crops are rotting before they are picked.
It is in everyones interests to match a labour pool of immigrants, with employers who need a job doing.
Forbidding immigrants fro working and farmers fro employing them is completely crackpot and daft.

1.2 million people arrived n the country. About half that country left. A lot of the leavers were Brits like doctors and nurses, going to say Australia, so we need forriners to replace them as we can't train them quickly and, even if we do, they leave!
The vast majority of people arriving – 925,000 – were non-EU nationals, and around one in 12 of those were asylum seekers, including those in Ukraine, Afghanistan and Hong Kong.

When Blair was on the throne and Labour were in power, they allowed hundreds of thousand of legal immigrants, mostly from eastern Europe to come and work here.
They came legally, they worked, paid taxes, paid for living accommodation. Employers were happy, the taxpayer were happy, and economy was boosted.
The Tories got elected to cut immigration (including legal immigration). So now we have 600,000 illegal immigrants, that are not working, not paying tax, that we have to pay a fortune to accommodate, and are an utter burden.

I've given you the numbers that show you've got that completely wrong. You are getting confused between illegal asylum seekers, illegal migrants, legal asylum seekers and legal migrants. By far the biggest number is of legal migrants, and the reason they're encouraged by the Tory government is because we need them to fill our skills gap.

Of course people from hong kong and Ukraine are not coming over on the boats, they have fast track legal immigration. Ellipsis never said they did, nor is he being vague. The immigration figures have been inflated due to legal asylum seekers, from Hong Kong ( who have British passports) Ukraine and Afghanistan.
//If they had processed the migrants in a timely manner, the issue would never have arisen.//
They have tried to but when they have been processed in a timely manner the Labour party have continually blocked the Tories thus a back-log has occurred which is swamping and stymying the process which is what Labour intends.

bramble picker migrants and barracks, and a load of interpreters and health and safety checks for living quarters, and what if they do not want to work on farms, and after the picking seasons over...then what. it's seasonal work, let them live on benefits till next picking season. factory work would need training thus interpreters, multi language ones, the system is overwhelmed with migrants illegal or otherwise, with deportation thwarted by the legal system and pro migrant groups..labour included, and all the treaties we are signature to.
