Hasta la vista baby.
Not "au revoir" Boris but adieu.
Goodbye and Good Riddance.....Go to the Ditch that you promised us.
Pity Sunak was too busy to vote. Why was that? Fear of Johnson? Fear of Johnson fans? Sounds like fear of something. But is there a more interesting motive?
It's the least bad option for him. Voting either way would look worse.
Yep, Sunak fluffed it. Chance to lead from the front, and he skulked away.
225 MPs Couldn’t be aršed to turn up and vote. That says it all really.
Hopefully this is the end of the closing chapter, and the won’t be bothering us for a while.
"225 MPs Couldn’t be arsed to turn up and vote"

That may very well come back to bite them in the ***. Long memories...
LOL! So, "arsed" is OK, but "***" isn't? This site really has gone to šhit!
Cowards who didn’t vote. Check out your MPs vote or not .
good to see Mordaunt speaking firmly. The more I see her the more I think they should have chosen her; she seems to be honest (by Commons standards) and has a mind of her own
She doesnt known what a woman is, she will never be leader of a proper Tory Party. If we ever get one back.

Interesting to see the number '7' was used ignoring the abstentions. And this is always the problem with all your arguments Hymie, you cherry pick and fail to see the full picture.

Still Johnson the Green has gone so good. Now lets move on.
Hardly surprising. All anti-Boris politicians would vote aye regardless. The pro-Boris ones probably didn't want to any validity and ignored it. Boris asked them to anyway.
...didn't want to GIVE IT any validity...
That is what happens when you get interrupted by irrelevance mid-typing >:-(

A bit like the Brexit vote, where 52% of those that voted voted Leave, but that was only about 37% of the eligible voters.

Anyway, if you want the full details, here we go:

650 MPs
361 voted
354 votes for
7 votes against
225 non-votes (abstentions or did not turn up to vote)
64 others (I don't know what they are!)

So as percentages:

650 MPs (100% of MPs)
361 voted (55% of MPs, 100% of voters)
354 votes for (54% of MPs, 98% of voters)
7 votes against (1% of MPs, 2% of voters)
225 non-votes (35% of MPs)
64 others (10% of MPs)

The important thing is that 54% of all MPs, and 98% of Voters, voted For - a crushing defeat for Boris.

It’s like watching gleeful school kids in a playground seeing Gullivers crass comment , I agree with Baz
Bobbie, going off topic ?
Bobbi; some of us are used to ignoring crass comments. Schoolyard yah-boos are rife here, from both sides. I condemn all those who post insulting remarks instead of addressing the meat of a post (I'm not talking barbecues here).
