A listener rang in LBC and mentioned Mr Farage's award to James O'Brien. O'Brien went all coy and said he was not going to discuss it. O'Brien has always considered his show the most popular programme in the media. He holds the distinction of having a 'Hate O'Brien' campaign following him. He normally doesn't hold back in slagging off Mr Farage and Brexiteers. He doesn't even have the courtesy of pronouncing Nigel Farage's surname correctly.

I think he may be hinting that, as past sponsors, they may have some influence. Sponsored awards events should always be taken with a pinch of salt. Believing they are free from bias would be rather naive.
