At one point during a very hot day they had puppies for sale in the heat with no shelter.
I think next time I want rubbish removed I'll ask the council to do it for nothing like you do for gypsies.

Now , now, TTT steady on. You know damned well how difficult it is for plod or local Councils to ascertain who the landowner is. Unless they are looking to prosecute them of course. Plus a visit "to the site" will itself require a full and comprehensive risk assessment with public and private liability cover which will need approval by the accounts department when they can get wifi from their latest W F H location on a beach near you. (anyone else noticed how the Councils like to provide wifi at beach locations?) An educational needs assessment will take months now that the universities and schools have closed for the summer, and the local social security branches will require the recruitment of staff, preferably from a galaxy far far away. Extra bin wagons and personal protection suits will need to be ordered for the clean up when they eventually move on to the next location. Should be sorted by Christmas then, as a sort of gift for the unfortunate local inhabitants.
Two years ago, Rochdale Council issued banning orders to more than 200 hundred people regarding "travellers' rights". The notices were in the form of public notices posted in prominent and popular places throughout the borough, and banned such people from stopping overnight anywhere within the borough. The notice also included "others". Maybe other councils could do the same.
