Awful. With such terrible father, neither child had much hope of a normal life. The poor lad, like most children, took his Dad as a role model. As a result, two innocent lives absolutely ruined. RIP Amber.

Another example of women's status being so uncertain in our society they cling to the faux security of their marriage. Too many women are still staying in abusive relationships. We must do more to support them.

wolf, I first read this yesterday and it certainly made its mark on me.
I hope I remember this poor girl for a long time to come - it puts my moans and groans into perspective. We simply do not have the slightest idea what some people go through until such a harrowing story hits the headlines. RIP sweet Amber.

Yes evil exists - the balance is that so does good exist.
We all recognise evil - that is the 'good'.
