Putin To Equip National Guard With Heavy Weaponry 'To Ensure Regime Security'
It seems Mad Vlad now has a force of 200,000 personnel to protect him, and the British PM didn't have even a couple of rozzers to protect his home from nutters climbing all over it.

//The decision to strengthen the force of around 200,000 personnel came after Mr Putin's leadership was threatened by a Wagner Group mutiny in June.
Thousands of mercenaries, led by Yevgeny Prigozhin, launched a "march on Moscow" calling for senior military officials to be removed from their posts due to their work in the war.
While it was quickly aborted, and Prigozhin was exiled to Belarus, the rebellion weakened Mr Putin's untouchable persona and showed weakness in his leadership. //

Having a go at politicians' homes isn't new. But offenders need to be brought to book properly.
are we perhaps thinking of the Phoenix Park murders ( IRB and chief secretary for Ireland) 1888?
or the aborted attack on a cabinet minister, when the police waiting for the malefactors, click-clocked their Glocks and it was heard and the IRA ran away
Later said, arming the police with Glocks was completely unfit for their purpose. ( but the coppers wanted guns as big as the SAS's) - such is life, which I will render as "sic verum in vita" today
or should that be " biggus dickus, glockus schlokus"

Even Caesar made do with far less;
'The Imperial Praetorian Guard was created in 27 B.C.E. by Caesar Augustus as his own personal army to keep order throughout the city of Rome. He instituted nine groups of foot soldiers, or ''cohorts,'' The cohorts had around 600 soldiers each, making the total size of the Praetorian Guard around 3,600 soldiers.'
ichi; We know what happened to Caesar;
