The big problem with socialists is that they eventually run out of other people's money.

I thought I was reading the Daily Mail/Express in TTT’s link, and not the BBC.

For a more authoritative view of what The Socialist Party stands for, see the link below.

How much would that be for each of us? 30p?

hymie they don't need a manifesto, the clue is in the name of their party.
Incidentally, if you've ever visited a country run by the sort if Socialists you admire, you would know you wouldn't like to live under such a regime. People who spout Socialism in general have no idea what they're talking about.

The Government claims the right to tax you
The Government claims the right to write rules for you to obey
The Government claims the right to punish you for disobedience

In short: the Government claims ownership of you. Slaves one and all
You're not a slave. Everything has to be paid for. Think about it.
Yawn!!
Maggie, you are free to buy a deserted island and drop out of society, support yourself
Yes, maggiebee, truth is tiresome at times. ;o)
Yawn, yawn, yawn! I've paid my way since I was 16 and am now in my late 70s and still paying!
And still taking. Fair enough.
There are two types of people in this world.
People who think the Government is looking out for their best interests and people who think.
MaggieB, I honestly don’t understand your vehement dislike of Westminster?
Don’t you ( in Scotland) get free prescriptions, free university places ?
Maggiebee, Without laws and taxes, how would you suggest services be provided and law and order maintained?
In Scotland free prescriptions, university places, yes, but also slightly higher income tax rates.

But it is worth pointing out that in England, approximately 40% of the population are currently liable to pay the prescription charge though approximately 89% of the items dispensed in the community are dispensed free of charge.

And no doubt you are also Naomi.
12,49. You are wasting your time , the right wing of AB know everything. Beware not to cross them, there will be consequences .
Yes, Gulliver, me too - but I’m not complaining. I’m one of those thinkers maggiebee mentioned. I don’t expect anything for nothing. I know it all has to be paid for.
