If we are to believe that Daniel Khalifa was a nationwide wanted terrorist then what was he doing riding a bicycle down a busy road in public view? If he was a master spy he would be lying low before being smuggled out of the country. Something funny going on here!

I expect he was trying to hide in plain sight. It still seems unclear whether his escape was carefully planned or just improvised.

He is accused of gathering information for Iran, but as yet we haven’t seen the evidence.
Khalife appeared at the Old Bailey in late July, via videolink from HMP Wandsworth, when he denied the charges.
He is a computer data and information specialists, and got addresses and information from colleagues personnel files. It is unclear why Iran would be interested in such information.
An odd story, his trial should be interesting.

I tried to find his family ethnicity and it has not been revealed. Searching the name, a lot of Arab results. The Burj Khalifa in Dubai for example.

One assumes the authorities have evidence and a motive, to take a prosecution to Court. He has denied the charges.

He managed to last 3 days in one of the most watched cities on earth while being the most hunted man in the country. In that time he obviously managed to get hold of food and drink, get a change of clothes and find a bicycle. Not easy as you might think
