Blair says being leader of the opposition "does not prepare you quite adequately for the difficulty of doing the prime minister's job". David Cameron will be completely aware of that fact. Firstly, it's true, secondly, rather banal and thirdly, easily rebutted - one could have said the same about TB or Major or Thatcher etc etc. Not, I imagine, a great insight that will go down in history, certainly nothing to get Cameron upset.
Such films are not unique to Blair - Bush has done a similar thing in the US and they are regarded as an opportunity to shine a bit of light on how government actually works. With the numbers of people not taking part in the democratic process, anything which does attempt to engage the voting public is a useful exercise.
my point is you only ever look at things from one side of the fence.
I have my own objections to things that he has said or done in the past but can still look objectively at what he decides to do each time.
In this instance, using a small amount of public funds to provide an insight into his daily routine, which incidentally has been called for by many members of the public by the way, is not a gross misuse of public money by any stretch of the imagination.
