Where I live voted Brexit, but I am not hearing hearing happy people.

The voters are disappointed, can't see any good results, and a lot of travel inconveniences.

Maybe I am just TROB.

anyone out therethink Brexit has been a rip roaring success ?

You pair don't half post some nonsense.

Where you getting your figures from, Hymie?

Shedman 10.00 Uk citizens living in "Different Countries" Were allowed to vote in the 2016 referendum provided the had not lived outside the UK for more than 15 years.

Well said TTT.  Some people are very small minded.

1O.27  You can always watch Coronation St instead .

Yet another Brexit benefit heading our way:-

Come 1 January next year (thanks to Brexit) UK manufactured electric cars exported to the EU will be subject to a 10% tariff (unless some agreement otherwise is made before hand).

This will significantly reduce electric vehicle production in the UK, with uncompetitive prices in the EU – let’s see the Brexiteers put a positive spin on that Brexit benefit.

Half a story Hymie

What's the other half?

Hymie: "Come 1 January next year (thanks to Brexit) UK manufactured electric cars exported to the EU will be subject to a 10% tariff (unless some agreement otherwise is made before hand)." - half the story, if they charge us 10% we'll do the same, we are not as helpless as you 5Cers seem to think, anything they do we can do, with knobs on.

The Bank of England (that lefty 5C organisation) has said that Brexit has cost each household £1,000 – whatever makes you think those Brexit costs are not ongoing?

It’s good to see that Brexiteers don’t mind that Brexit will cost them many thousands of pounds over their lifetime – because that is what it will cost.

Electric cars made in Germany will be tariff-free throughout the EU, but with a 10% tariff for those imported to the UK – so Brexit has doubly screwed us, making our manufactured electric cars more expensive within the EU, and EU manufactured electric cars more expensive in the UK.

"Electric cars made in Germany will be tariff-free throughout the EU, but with a 10% tariff for those imported to the UK " - so who's hurtuing the most then? The Germans wont be happy if we lump 10% on their exports to us will they. Better for all concerned if the EUSSR can stop it with their hissy fit and start working with us for mutual benefit.

This bilge, Hymie?

To anyone under 20, Brexit will cost them many times £10k over their lifetime – and they never got a vote

Brexiteers continue claim it is the EU that is deliberately making new rules to punish us for Brexit – but these tariff rules were agreed in the Brexit deal, by one Boris Johnson (so now you know where the blame lies).

You talk obsessive deluded drivel man, have look at yourself.

If Brexit has already cost each household £1,000 (and we only left in 2021) by simple maths, over an 80 year lifetime it will run into many times that.

Hymoe, you whinge on and on and on, and very few seem to agree with you.  What do you expect to achieve by it?

Gulliver,  yes I occasionally watch Corrie, but I can assure you have other interests which take great  precedence.  And which take precedence over this site as well!

TORATORATORA, "The Germans wont be happy if we lump 10% on their exports to us will they."

What proportion and value of the German EV production is currently exported to the UK?

What proportion and value of the UK EV production is currently exported to the EU?

Hymie that is one of the most naive statements I have seen on this site.
