One thousand Migrants crossed the channel in rubber Boats and arrived in England  in the last three days,and as you read this. Sunak is on television telling his party that he has got the number of immigrants way down.

What he said was that numbers crossing in rubber boats and the like has gone down this year 20,973 up to August 2023 compared to August last year which was 25,043 so he is right in what he says.  Check your facts first.

Which ever way you look at it the number is down on last year but you will never see it that way.  Has anyone actually come up with a plan how they would get the numbers down so low that it would not be worth the traffickers sending them across.  If so please tell us.  By the way the EU has been getting hundreds of thousands more and they don't know what to do about it either.

14.08 These hundreds of thousands more  entering the Eu is the only way they can catch the bus to Calais to catch the rubber ferry to the good old united kingdom.

This a number given by the EU of illegal immigrants that came into the EU in 2022, "1.08 million non-EU citizens were found to be illegally present in the EU in 2022, up 59 % compared with 2021."  Our number is small compared to that although it is still too many.
