I can't understand their mentality.  On what planet do they think that Israel won't give a response?  It's akin to someone with a party popper trying to take on someone with a rocket launcher.

I would guess this may escalate into something larger than the past cross boarder rocket attacks. I wouldn't mind betting that the latest Hamas ordnance will have originated in Iran. God help  Iran if it has. The IRD have been itching to take a pop at Iran since they announced their nuclear programme.Hamas first. Iran next.

Piggy, Gaza is an autonomous region, they run their own show, Israel only respond when they are attacked.

The solution to Israeli occupation is not the terrorism espoused by Hamas and their sponsors. One wonders if the latter actually want to start an all out war: they wouldn't care if Palestinians died as a result

Although Israel are the M E bullies, Hamas are deliberately stirring a hornets nest for their own agenda - I wonder how much support there is for Hamas amongst ordinary Palestinians (it's IRA all over again).
