It wasn't for indecent exposure it was for bullying & sexual misconduct - which to the woke can be fairly trivial things today.

"Parliament's behaviour watchdog found Mr Bone had exposed himself to an aide and physically struck him."

Just something else that from here on will be known as 'a ***'.

Rhymes with moaner on this twee wee site.

Were this to be 'indecent exposure' it would a criminal act & the police would be involved, it is simply an in-house misdemeanour with a suspension of six weeks:

The Sexual Offences Act 2003 says someone commits exposure if they intentionally expose their genitals and intend that someone will see them and be caused alarm or distress. Someone who commits exposure can be sentenced for up to two years in prison.

Think all this (him and not her) comes from their days in public Schools. When they were being radicalised into growing up as Tories.

Turns out his birth name was Willie Wagger.

I'm glad you find it hillarious, I don't. A good man's reputation is a stake here.

I don't remember Jeremy Corbyn being radicalised by the Conservatives at his public schools, nor Sir Keir for that matter.

We can all apologise if it turns out to be just another cock-up, Khandro.

I'm no expert on British Politics but the article says he's supended as a Tory. I do not think that precipitates a by-election in itself. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Khandro 10.45 "just an inhouse misdemeanour" "He indecently exposed himself to an aide and then locked him in a bathroom"....More like an inbathroom misdemeanour.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣....

He has been suspended only  from the Tory party not from the Commons. There will need to be a debate and a vote on the recommended suspension period.

Tut!  Such confusion!

//Peter Bone has been suspended as a Conservative MP after an investigation found he had bullied and was sexually inappropriate around a former member of staff.

Parliament's behaviour watchdog found Mr Bone had exposed himself to an aide and physically struck him.

The watchdog recommended suspending him from the Commons for six weeks.

Mr Bone has denied the allegations, calling them "without foundation", and is appealing the decision.

The Conservative Party has now withdrawn the whip from the MP, meaning he will sit as an independent and will not be able to stand for re-election as a Tory candidate.//

Sorry, the link to that^ won't post.  It's from the BBC website.

Whatever happened it happened 11 years ago, so why now? Has this anonymous person been traumatised for more than a decade?

And gulliver it was Peter Bone who called for a vote of no confidence in Boris, so I would have thought you wouldn't have been the first to condemn him.

If the suspension is at least ten sitting days or fourteen days if sitting days are not specified, that triggers a recall petition.

"The petition officer will arrange for the petition to be open for six weeks. Electors may sign in person at a signing station or sign by post or by proxy.

For a recall petition to be successful 10% of eligible registered voters need to sign the petition. If the 10% threshold is reached the petition officer informs the Speaker of the House of Commons. On the giving of that notice the seat becomes vacant."

Khandro 11.06 Why are you so keen to defend this MP?

//Khandro 11.06 Why are you so keen to defend this MP?//

Why are you (& some others) so keen to judge & denigrate him ?

'Bullying' was never heard of in the commons until recently & We have had, Dominic Raab, Gavin Williamson Liam Byrne Therese Coffey, Jacob Rees-Mogg, & for Labour, Shanan Halbert and others all accused in this short time frame.

It's a new, easy to use, smear tool, placing the accused in a disadvantage of having to prove their innocence. In this case without witness and 11 years ago.
