Rishi Sunak admits, 13 years of Tory rule has been an absolute disaster After being in power all these years. The Cons have had FIVE Prime Ministers SEVEN Chancellors ,an Economic Crash ,a Mortgage Bombshell , record NHS waiting lists .Migration figures going through the roof. Billions of pounds of tax payers money handed to Cronies and associates of the Con Club. While.. DH.. is dancing and skipping through the Bluebells in the sunny uplands because you voted for him and Brexit.....Suckers🤣🤣

I won't be voting Tory at the next GE for the very simple reason the current Tories are not actually Tories. St Blair's Goverment were more Tory than the current "Tories".
I believe in proper Tory values, that is to say small 'g' Government, low taxation, not too much regulation and not penalising people for doing well. This Goverment is none of those things/does none of those things.
I will never forgive them for unnecessarily locking down and paying people to sit on their backsides during Covid, neither of which were necessary and both of which have been proven to be wrong. I said as much at the time and was called a granny killer and a Covidiot, but I and those with the same opinion have been proven to be correct.
The above doesn't mean I'll be voting Labour (I'm not insane and Starmer hasn't a clue what he stands for - the prat doesn't even know what a woman is) it just means I won't be voting and will take my chances with whatever the next ineffectual Government is.
what a sad state of affairs.
It baffles me why gulliver1 has not been suspended for his continual abuse on her. Whilst I fully support lively date, the OP continues to post questions without any factual evidence or links to back up any statements. It is goading, pure and simple. If people stopped taking the bait, we might make the OP realise that they are wasting their time.
Hello gulliver, I think you have misunderstood the Guardian story if that's what you're referring to. Rishi Sunak didn't admit or say those words. The words were written by Pat McFadden, Labour’s national campaign coordinator, and were his not so impartial interpretation of what Sunak said and didn't say in his conference speech in which he was critical at times of some aspects/outcomes of the leadership of some previous Tory PMs.
But after this I won't waste time replying again to gulliver or anyone else on here rude enough to gleefully call people suckers.
This is easily the worse government I have known in my life and I lived through the Thatcher era.
Totally without any moral or ethical compass and only acting in the interest of the very rich and their donors.
There latest plans seems to be to wreck as much of our environment as possible, and to try and ignore climate change
Vote tactically at the general election to boot out the Tories. In my constituency that will mean voting Lib Dems but I can live with that
