the day to day running of a charitable organisation is by far the most important part of her job... if she does a good job as CEO then that is better for women who suffer from endometreosis

We can all imagine ourselves afflicted by blindness or cancer because that can happen to anyone, but no man - and this person is a man - can ever truly empathise with debilitating issues that can only ever relate to women.
There are plenty of women who have no sympathy or empathy for women who suffer severe period pain, endometriosis or debilitating menopause symptoms because they have never experienced them, they have sailed through those - the type of people who dismiss conditions like ME and fibromyalgia.
I know several women who dread a female boss, because in their experience they are the most unsympathetic when it comes to 'women's issues'.
The best candidate should always be employed.
People aren't apppinted for any other reason than they're the best person for the job - and if you believe that you'll believe anything.

I've no idea what he has said regarding "TERFs" but if it is something that makes him unsuitable for the job, then that is a seperate issue from his confusion over his sex/gender, and presumably something taken into account by those considering his application.
I'd like to add my view that one need not have to suffer a particular issue in order to understand suffering and both sympathise and empathise with those that do. Not that someone in a management job needs to in order to manage anyway. His job would be about organisation, other staff would deal with individual sufferers.
