Transgender Footballer Quits
A transgender footballer whose physical power on the pitch left opponents 'terrified' is considering taking legal action for discrimination after opposing teams refused to play against them.
The boycott is said to have followed a player suffering a broken knee when 'blocking a shot' from the trans player Francesca Needham, 30.
Discrimination? How? This person is a man playing in a woman's team. Isn't it time sports governing bodies put a stop to this on-going nonsense once and for all by making a positive decision right now to ban these second-rate sportsmen - who if competing against men would be nothing more than also-rans - from women's sports altogether?

It might be a better idea if the player who suffered the broken knee took legal action against the governing body who allow this stupid situation to continue.
Any sport that requires physical strenght along with explosive power will continue to see even more serious, maybe even life changing out comes. There are however some sports that only require good hand and eye coordination, but very few and far between, strenght is the main factor of almost all sports. Its completely nuts to allow this to continue.
"If all the American women swimmers refused to swim against 'Lia' Thomas, the nonsense of allowing 'her' to compete against proper women would stop immediately."
Exactly, dd. It doesn't need "Governing Bodies" or whoever to conduct interminable studies and enquiries, and who will be heavily "influenced" (i.e. intimidated) by the transgender lobby. All it needs is for individual participants and teams to simply refuse to take part in any competetion where there are men among the runners and riders. It is pointless them moaning and whining about it. Just get on and boycott all the competitions where faux women are permitted to compete.
Yes, it may mean that some of them lose out in the short term. But to allow the alternative to prevail is completely irresponsible. If the governing bodies won't take action then individual women must. If they don't they risk effectively losing their sport entirely.

Erm...I don't think this is off subject. I'm down on women playing football because of Osgood-Schlatters (problem with the knees that women never got, really, before girls started playing - only boys had it).
The big knee problem is that, whilst men's legs are fairly vertical, female hip spread means that women's knees are at an angle (no matter how skinny they are!). This renders them especially vulnerable to serious injury if hit from an angle. There's lots of technical stuff about this, but that's basically it.

a trans person with a GRC will have a replacement birth certificate confirming their reassigned gender in law. weak governance, capitulating to the crowd...what next child sex, hey it's my preference, you cannot..cannot, let the will of sub groups say what the law..and i did think about what iv said, shout loud enough..get it, does not make it right.
