He may have been born in England but surely he was Irish.

So sad to hear this news.  For me it's not Christmas until I have heard Fairytale of New York at least 6 times. Maybe he'll meet with Kirsty and they can rock together once more.

RIP Shane.  Loved your music and will be thinking of you everytime Fairytale in New York is played over the next few weeks.

Aww, he only left hospital with his family a couple of days ago.

That last photo is heart breaking.

He is Irish

It is Pasta.  But its good he died at home with his family around.

Born in England to Irish parents. 

Sad news but not surprising.  He was born on Christmas Day, appropriately

Apparently went to Westminster public school and got expelled  for drug reasons.  Who would have guessed that ;0)?  Only lived in Ireland for 6 years.
