It's actually Mr and Mrs me again, but yes, of course they should lose their titles and with it, be taken out of the line of succession including their putative children.

I wouldn't give them the name of Mr and Mrs Sussex and I expect the people of Sussex wouldn't either, but they could be called Mr & Mrs Windsor as that is Harry's name already.

Diana got downgraded from HRH to just Diana Princess of Wales. As if anyone gave a toss. We still knew who she was.
