Forget the Establishment commentariat view that Trump is ‘crazy’, or a ‘threat to democracy’.
Just consider Trump’s record.
During his first term, the Beijing-Moscow-Tehran-Pyongyang axis, and its terrorist clients, were on their very best behaviour.
The US border was secure against massive waves of crime-gang-controlled unverified illegal immigration that Biden has unconstitutionally imposed on the US. (A Stuart King was beheaded for less.)
Beijing was forced to abandon its breaches of trade law and massive theft of intellectual property.
In the face of climate catastrophism ideology that only enriches Beijing, Trump was the first global leader with the courage not only to declare that the climate emperor has no clothes, he withdrew the US from the Paris Accords.
In addition, not only did Trump stand out as a President who started no new wars, he destroyed ISIS, and brought peace to the Middle East through the Abraham Accords between Israel and Muslim states.

Peace in the Middle East? I know Australia is a long way from here but I thought it was at least in the same planet (!)
It was Trump who started the withdrawal from Afghanistan and thereby gave a signal that the US didn't care any more. A green light for dictators everywhere//
You need to study modern history a bit more. All those events are to be considered in his time what has happened since he can not be blamed for.
Isis was crushed, The Afghanistan withdrawal was planned to take place over a slow long time period, which he had clerly outlined, & not as the clown, Biden did it. He told the ISIS leader that if there were any attacks whatsoever during the withdrawal he would see that his village was bombed!
And the Abraham Accords alone were, & still are, a great achievement of his leadership, sent awry now by Teheran, of whom he would now be dealing with more robustly if he were in the White House.

Mr Trump, 77, says he should not face criminal charges because he was acting as president at the time. He has for years cited presidential immunity while battling civil and criminal cases.
Whichever way the appeals judges rule, the case is widely expected to end up at the US Supreme Court, where conservatives hold a 6-3 majority.
The case could have a profound effect on the future of the American presidency and what is allowable by an individual who holds the office.
It sure could. If a president can do anything they like, e.g. rig election votes or incite insurrection, then that is the end of democracy in that country.
During Trump's administration (2017-2021), ISIS was destroyed;
At its height, the Islamic State - also known as ISIS, ISIL, or Daesh - held about a third of Syria and 40 percent of Iraq. By December 2017 it had lost 95 percent of its territory, including its two biggest properties, Mosul, Iraq's second largest city, and the northern Syrian city of Raqqa, its nominal capital.
The 'peace' mentioned in the OP refers to the later Abraham Accords. See my post above 15:06
