The long awaited statement last night that was expected from Sunak didn't come because his trip to Ukraine was already in progress. The reason that nothing was said about Sunak last night was to keep his visit undercover for obvious reasons. But I dare say Russian will responed sooner or later with a few missiles just to say hello.
It's odd that the BBC called it a "rare visit to Kyiv": he's been PM for about 15 months and has visited twice. Not bad going.

There was a famous old pub in Kyiv called the Sunduk, which sadly burned down a few years back and was rebuilt. They could rename it the Sunak :-)
