Just accept that the people we welcome to our shores are not happy with the countrty the way it is. They will feel much better when the country becomes more akin to the *** they have left.
It appears the vast majority of our politicians are onboard with this despite 'this' no being what the general population want.

There is definitely an issue regarding foreign culture/thought alien to western society being a peril which needs to be tackled; but in my opinion Mr. Pollard is tying a lot of stuff together to make more of it than is justified. But maybe spinning their opinion is what journalists do.
i think pollard is one of many people with very strong opinions about left wing politics who have an extremely poor understanding of what people on the left actually think. the action over palestine does not really have anything to do with "identity politics" but much older and more important objections to colonialism. nor do most protestors support hamas or encourage others to support hamas (there are some with extremely stupid or misguided opinions about hamas i grant but it is not the norm)...
like most people he could really do with trying to understand what his opponents really think and especially what their more intelligent advocates write... not what he's decided to make up about them!
