Following a foiled plot by the Palestine Action group to shut down London's Stock Exchange, journalist Stephen Pollard writes:

Perceptive, honest -  and chillingly accurate.

agreed

the west is not doing itself any favours by supporting israel's genocidal actions in gaza. if we're supposed to be the good guys we aren't covering ourselves in glory in that particular area...

Question Author

Untitled, do you actually understand what Stephen Pollard is saying?  Really understand it?

What a far right swivel eyed loon.

Just accept that the people we welcome to our shores are not happy with the countrty the way it is. They will feel much better when the country becomes more akin to the *** they have left.

It appears the vast majority of our politicians are onboard with this despite 'this' no being what the general population want.

We don't have to understand stuff, naomi, you do it for us.

Question Author

Sadly, that's something I can't do, douglas.  Try again.

Probably not read it,

There is definitely an issue regarding foreign culture/thought alien to western society being a peril which needs to be tackled; but in my opinion Mr. Pollard is tying a lot of stuff together to make more of it than is justified. But maybe spinning their opinion is what journalists do.

i think pollard is one of many people with very strong opinions about left wing politics who have an extremely poor understanding of what people on the left actually think. the action over palestine does not really have anything to do with "identity politics" but much older and more important objections to colonialism. nor do most protestors support hamas or encourage others to support hamas (there are some with extremely stupid or misguided opinions about hamas i grant but it is not the norm)...

like most people he could really do with trying to understand what his opponents really think and especially what their more intelligent advocates write... not what he's decided to make up about them!

I haven't read the article btw but I wholeheartedly agree that we are in a battle to save the west.

the images in the article do not work for me by the way so i cannot tell if pollard has included pictures of the individual posters he has decided to use as evidence or not

nor do most protestors support hamas or encourage others to support hamas

Why are these same dipsticks supporting the Houthis?

Question Author

Dr Wahid Asif Shaida, an NHS GP, is UK leader of the extremist Islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT), which is banned in Germany and a dozen other countries and is about to be proscribed here, has said  “Victory is coming and everyone has to choose a side. Whose side are you going to be on?”

who exactly do you mean? give examples.

A lot of the protesters in the UK are actually sponsored by Iran.

I wonder what the pro-Houthi demonstrators would make of calls by Yemen's beleaguered government for more air strikes against them (!)

sounds like he agrees with you on that then naomi. perhaps you'd get on.

personally i think genocide and war crimes are always bad regardless of who does it. even if the perpetrators happen to be our allies.

Question Author

Untitled, from the article:

//On Saturday, though, there was a new chant: “Yemen, Yemen, make us proud, turn another ship around” – a reference to the Houthis’ attacks on shipping in the Red Sea//

when and where did this happen? how many people were chanting it? is there a recording?

Question Author

//One speaker from the main stage was cheered when he said, “We must normalise massacres as the status quo”.//

Whose side are you on, untitled?

i am not on anyone's "side".
