Bonkers, yes, but more than that.  Downright scary!

I've warned against the Nazification of Brtain under this Government comparing it to the 1930s Germany, but they just gave it a fancy name (Godwin's Law) and laughed. So don't say you weren't warned.

Instead of focussing on such trivia, both the sport itself & politicians should turn their attention to the heading of the ball.

I've just read a frightening article on the growing number of footballers developing dementia in later (& not so late) life which no one seems to want to discuss.

Canary, 'they' didn't give it anything.  The term 'Godwin's Law' was coined by an American, Mike Godwin, in 1990 - over thirty years ago - and it's nonsense.

Furthermore, it will no doubt surprise you to learn that this dreadful, self-destructive culture, an example of which is the topic of this thread, that has succeeded in stifling frank dialogue in recent years is not the fault of any government, but of the 'woke' - of which you, with your constant accusations of 'xenophobia' whenever justified criticism of immigration raises its head, are one.  We silence people at our peril.

If Newcastle banned every fan who shares Linzi Smith's views they would be playing to a virtually empty stadium.

I hope she eventually wins a fortune from suing the morons running the prem.

This is a real problem, along with people like Canary who are causing it.

It appears no Court case simply them deciding is enough.

The fans should just boycott a game.  I suspect the views of the banned person resonate with a fair few other supporters.

My opinion, for what it's worth, is that large organisations need to be controlled in law, starting now and going back as far as is needed, to prevent them from taking unjustified actions and interfering with the lives of ordinary people.

Those organisations should also be made to pay all costs relating to Gestapo-like tactics including compensating victims of their high-handed behaviour.

It's a poxy *** football club for *** sake, who do they think they are?

I have been following Linzi's case for months. It is absolutely terrifying.

It is somewhat ironic that NUFC is owned by Saudis, where being gay can result in the death penalty and it is illegal to change sex.

canary: "I've warned against the Nazification of Brtain under this Government comparing it to the 1930s Germany, but they just gave it a fancy name (Godwin's Law) and laughed. So don't say you weren't warned. " - you're having a Turkish me old china. All this bullying of anyone without the "correct" views on any given subject is the facism/nazism!
