It's fair game, Labour still don't know what a woman is.

No matter what surgeries they undergo, nor documentation they may have, sp, a man can never be a woman.Sunak was refering to Starmer's position on the 'Trans' issue and not specifically the murder of Brianna Ghey. Esther Ghey may have been in the Parliamentary estate but she wasn't present in the chamber when he spoke.

Starmer was not in power and did not backtrack on anything he had actually done. He does not have all the info that the Tories have and so he has to improvise based on what the Tories might get up to next. When shadow politicians gain power they also become figures to be respected.

Blair was a wimp before he became PM, and so was Cameron.

If Starmer becomes PM he will be a different person.

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it ...

Ellipsis, what happened to Alan Turing was appalling - unimaginable - but he didn't aspire or pretend to be something he could never be and using his name to support your non-argument is, in my opinion, utterly disrespectful.  That should be beneath everyone.

I am saying nothing about what Alan Turing said about himself. I am saying what others said and did about Alan Turing, in his time.

You're using him - and it's wrong.

Thank you for your opinion.

Sunak said that starmer "doesn't know what a woman is" because starmer includes trans women in his definition of women... that is a jibe at trans people and the only reason you think it isn't is because you have exactly the same attitude toward them as rishi sunak does... and i am done with pretending otherwise

I have never pretended that men are women and nor should anyone else, let alone those with the potential power to change society to accommodate these people.

A trans woman is not a woman, untitled

Perhaps we could stop all this trans-nonsense by calling women ‘wombmen’ and men ‘willymen’.

//Mozz, if you expect even Parliament to dance around perceived sensitivities perhaps you should be complaining about Starmer's ridiculous comments on this issue.   How many has he offended? //

Oh sorry Naomi, I forgot that your offense is as great as that of a grieving parent of a murdered child. How foolish of me. 🙄

^^              ^^

You said it.

It seems to me you have misunderstood or misinterpreted what naomi said, mozz.

NMA. I hope so, because I do not "expect parliament to dance about perceived sensitivities" but I do expect the Prime Minister to have a little bit of awareness how insensitive some comments could be. The comment was made only moments after Starmer spoke about Mrs Ghey. It was appalling timing.

Untitled, I'd hazard a guess you're not done with pretending.

Mozz, you're contradicting yourself.  You don't expect parliament to dance around people's sensitivities - but you wanted the leader of the country to remove one item from Starmer's long list of failures for fear it would offend someone's sensitivities.

starmer's only "failure" was to refer to trans women as women. you disagree with that and so does sunak and so did brianna ghey's murderers who giggled about her genitals and called her an "it". that doesn't mean it is wrong.

It is wrong to refer to males and females.  Men are not women - ever.

your opposition to the existence if trans women is not a dogma shared by everyone

I don't object to anyone's existence.  I object to being expected to lie - and to being expected to accept other people's lies as truth.
