And Corbyloon: //it might help if she bothered to spell out his surname correctly.//
I doubt whether he can spell his own name correctly, not in Latin script anyway. If he can spell it, it will be in most likely in the Persian script, which is based on the Arabic. Transferring in to Latin is only ever an approximation.
sandyRoe, it's not a case of being complimentary or otherwise. Someone once said that cockroaches would be the only creatures on the planet to survive a nuclear holocaust. I don’t know who said it and I can't be bothered to find out, and I don't think it's actually true anyway, but that is why the analogy has been used. The Jews have been persecuted for centuries, they've been shoved from pillar to post, they've been tortured and slaughtered in their millions, but nevertheless their determination, their self-sufficiency, their rituals and their traditions continue and their prayers remain the same. All of that survives as one wherever in the world they, as individuals, may reside, and that is just one reason in the great mixture of humanity that they remain unique. I've come to the conclusion that you people throwing your virtue-signalling hands up in manufactured horror on this thread are doing so because you don’t have a clue what Katie Hopkins is talking about.
Incidentally, I don’t expect any of you to understand that .. but one tries.
As usual, untitled deliberately distorts and misquotes to suit himself.. His post is incorrect and should be removed
K.H. did not refer to the Jews as cockroaches.
She adds: “Some of our towns are festering sores, plagued by swarms of migrants and asylum seekers, shelling out benefits like Monopoly money”.
Then she writes this, and The Sun prints it. “Make no mistake, these migrants are like cockroaches. They might look a bit “Bob Geldof’s Ethiopia circa 1984”, but they are built to survive a nuclear bomb. They are survivors”.
Just saying.
