20'S Not Plenty
Wales has scrapped the 20mph speed limit and reverted to 30
I can see the need for a 20mph limit in some specific areas at specific times but it couldn't work everywhere.
I wonder how much this failed exercise has cost?

People said it was an act of vindictiveness. They also increased parking charges whilst lowering the time allowed. They increased penalties for breaches of parking regs. More roads were narrowed; more speed bumps introduced; more traffic islands; more bus lanes; more speed cameras. The motorist is gonna pay, one way or the other, toll charges or not!
