Is the EU about to adopt the Governments policy of sending illegal immigrants to another country for processing?

If they try and dump them in NI what's stopping them strolling back south again ?

Anyway isn't chucking them out against their human right to seek asylum in the RoI, or is the claim that they're asylum seekers finally to be admitted to be utter nonsense ? The ECHR might have something to say.

 

Still, if they're daft enough to try it then a precedent will have been given and maybe even the do-nothings in Westminster might realise no one strolls back across the Channel when dumped back to where they came from.

I have friends living in Co Kerry who were initially very welcoming to the migrants to their community but now they're out on the street protesting to keep them out.

Indeed. As I continually repeat, that is the only strategy that will work. But as I also continually repeat, no government will do it. They all prattle on with threats of how they will handle them when they arrive. In practice that is "nothing" -  other than to accommodate them as well as feeding watering and providing them with pocket money and access to expensive lawyers to fight deportation.
