the footage of the attacker is horrifying. the 13 year old must have been absolutely terrified in their last moments. what an evil and probably damaged person he must be to walk out into the street and do something like that.

it says on gov.uk that it is illegal to buy or sell swords in the UK (blades over 50cm) and yet as toratoratora says i can find plenty of websites quite openly doing so without hiding it at all... is there a loophole or something?

it is satisfying to fantasize about shooting such people and quite understandable but unfortunately i don't think it would do very much to reduce things like this. china has the death penalty and knife attacks on schoolchildren there are tragically quite common
