Use Of A Machine That Would Then...

The UK last had Compulsary Identity cards cards during WW2. But they were finally withdrawn by Churchhill in 1952 and have never been used since. And most Brits don't want them. But suddenly they have been introduced again by the present Tory Govt but only when you go to the polling station Why! I ask.
This is another misleading post. No compulsory identity cards have been issued- it's simply take along your photo ID. Why? So the voter can be matched to the electoral register. But as you don't vote in local UK elections, why are you bothered? Perhaps its the tedious, repetitive, moronic, childish political trolling, and the reason why misleading posts like these need exposing.
This new ID card to vote system was carefully thought out by the cunning Tories But is obvious to some like myself .There is a wide range of travel passes bus passes etc and other photo card items used by pensioners who tend to vote for the Cons. But there are very few photo identity cards carried by youngsters who vote Labour Get it Retro .

You come out with a ridiculousd statement and when challenged you answer with that nonsense above.
You really have no clue and make it up as you go along. As mentioned earlier by two others your purpose on this site is solely to goad and troll. Pathetic. Read back what you have written. It's truly childish nonsense.
You reckon young labourites don't have passports or driving licences?. Don't judge youngsters by your own juvenile ineptitude
Nope - not a proper hit on this one - Gullz
You have voting cards, but not everyone is obliged, and there are other ways of identifying.
The legislation for identity cards is in place ( god knows what act) however the govt failed to activate
on the grounds..... it wouldnt work, it cost a lot, there wd be a black market and not much else use, they wouldnt know about everyone and there was no point unless 100% were recorded - some damn reason
I remember being surprised and thinking - why did they even bother?
Read back what you have written. It's truly childish nonsense.
erm fits in well with the other nonsense I read everyday on AB ! ter daaah ! - Yes Gullz is correct - there were anxieties ( well OK a civil servant said 'oops' once) because the ways of photo-identifty were stratified - the poor and the old scoring badly
as you well know Retro - old age bus passes were OK - but not vets ( army service) cards - which apparently cdnt be cured by a ministerial order. ( section in act of parliament needed, the knobs say)
