I Am Very Confused About The Greens & Allahu Akbar!
Why on earth was the Green Party supporting this man? I generally find the Greens a tad odd but perfectly harmless and ususally seem to want to do good, so how did this happen?

erm - and Nigel Farage ( hereinafter The Nige) had nothing to do with Brexit - and the Queen is a ROman Catholic
Local elections should not be party political as the questionn shold be for the punters " Can they run the city?" Andy Burnham of Manchester bviously can. ( not up for grabs this year)

// The rabbi and his wife and children were all forced into hiding after receiving an avalanche of threats. Yet Mr Ali remained the Green candidate in the Leeds ward of Gipton //
The Rabbi going into hiding is nothing to do with the Green councillors' comments. To say so is not a true representation of the facts.
Gromit, you sound rather silly, take those rose-coloured glasses off and stop beleiving all the Muslim lies, they are 'experts' at it.
There was a Muslim spokesman last evening on Farage GB News who opined that all the immigrants entering into Britain were "highly skilled", with the implication that everyone should be pleased to receive them.
Though there are many references to lying and deceiving per se in the bible, [e.g One of the seven deadly sins God hates is a lying tongue (Proverbs 6:16-17).] there seems to be nothing in the Koran other than how sinful it is to lie to or about Allah.
It is in the Arab world though to be expected. Among the Iranian *** Muslims it's quite normal practice, but it's always twisted to seem like it is for the good of Allah.

I had a quick look and read the transcript. I might have missed it but I didn't come across the comment you mentioned.
