Unsure what your point is. Yes we did regain control. The reason why there is still an issue is that there isn't any party with enough courage to enforce border controls, which allows wreckers to raise obstacles. For sure few parties exist here that may make a difference, but we know the incumbent government isn't likely to or they would have already acted, and their main rivals are boasting how much worse they intend to be.

No one is 100% correct all the time, and Farage is no exception (although he does state a lot more sense than most in politics).

 

His statement saying the NHS reference was a lie is obviously incorrect. As has been pointed out umpteen times, a simple suggestion as to a possible course of action is never a certainty of selecting that option, so it could never be a lie.

 

Had he thought about it a little longer before speaking he may have found a polite way to say that it could've be better worded, as a lot of very low intelligent folks, and a lot of troublemakers too, insisted on putting an unjustified interpretation on the statement.

 

People in the public eye need to explain things plainly & simply to the lowest common denominator of citizen intelligence, and to also try to avoid giving wreckers the opportunity to lie about what has been stated.

Listen carefully. I shall say this only once:

Brexit is done. We're no rejoining. Anybody who cast their referendum voted based on:

- (especially) What politicians told them

- What they read in the papers

- What they read on the side of a bus

- What some bloke down the pub told them

- What they read on a poster at the bus stop

- What they found on the internet

Was foolish and they have only themselves to blame if things did not turn out as they expected. 

The UK's economic growth since the Brexit referendum result was announced is better than that of France or Germany. Last time I looked they were still in the EU.
