It would be great if all those wanting to travel to Europe without an ETIAS (and therefore denied boarding - and there will be many 1,000s) voted for Brexit – after all, the EU needs us more than we need them, and we have taken back control (definitely not given control to the French).

As you say HYMIE. The EU can tell the Brits when and where they can and cannot travel And even bar them from travelling in the EU . And they have given the UK the right to take back control their own Borders.But they are not very good at it at least under the outgoing govt. Because the immigrants have smashed those borders down They are coming in , in their droves.

By the same argument, the UK can tell the Euros when and where they can and cannot travel And even bar them from travelling in the UK (NI ridiculously excepted at the present).

 

But the UK are more reasonable than the EU, which is why we left that undemocratic federal block in the first place. But some never seem to get that as they return with their usual nonsense threads/claims time and again.

What a pair of sad people you 2 are, wishing ill on anyone who doesn't agree with you.  Brexit was many years ago now and you still can't get over it while the rest of us have.  The ETIAS has been in the pipeline for a number of years so no problem to most.  If people travel without one then that is their own fault.  The French have always caused problems for us even when we were in the EU so nothing new there.  As for the Spanish not liking us I have not noticed it and am always made to feel welcome as I hope to be again in the next few days.  They are complaining a lot about not being able to buy property or the price being so high.  That could be down to people like you Gulliver buying up their places and leaving none for them.  They would be worse off without the tourists and the economies in those countries would suffer.
