Exit polls suggest as predicted, things are moving to the Right. In Germany it seems the so called, "far Right" AfD are making significant gains.

Will this happen across the whole of the EU ? I suspect it will.

I've read this elsewhere.  interesting that the Greens are struggling.

Far-right and Germany is not a good mix, historically ...

"Far-right and Germany is not a good mix, historically ..."

It's what happens when politicians ignore their electorate.

Interesting that its the young voters who are turning toward the 'far-right', away from parties such as the greens.

Not really borhered but...

...Germany is doooooomed. 😀

It is all very interesting.  It seems that at last the dichotomy between politicians and people is powerful enough to affect things.

Re: France......the name 'Le Pen' has hitherto (despite policy changes and announcements) been enough in itself to assure defeat.  Not any more - they are really cheesed off.

Looks like the EUSSR has awoken to the ongoing invasion.

 De Croo resigns

OK - it's all starting to shake apart.

Driving down the A1 20 years ago, a lorry cut in too close to our caravan, which gave a twitch (despite the stabiliser).  I'll never forget how that magnified until within a minute the 'van took over and ended up almost upside-down on the central reservation.

The 'twitch' has happened in Europe and here i.m.o..

It's not going to be nice.

'President Emmanuel Macron dissolves French National Assembly and calls snap election'

Cor blimey! fasten your seatbelts we're in for a bumpy ride.

It's been a while coming, but now the world is waking up. Trump will take the US, the EU will shift more to the Right - all through the glaringly obvious reason of mass imigration.

Counter-intuitively which is the only country in the world which looks to be turning to the left?

Answers on a postcard to AnswerBank UK please. 😃

Snap, Khandro!

immigration

Yeah, Macron seems to be taking it personally. Knee jerk reaction triggered by something most have been predicting for some time (but presumably hadn't made him aware of).

with labour in power more migrants will be heading left ie for the uk as the eu go right..

Let's all embrace the far right and their ranting bufoonish leaders as a quick and simple solution to everything.

What could possibly go wrong?

Macron trounced in EU Right-wing surge

AfD helps inflict worst-ever EU defeat on Olaf Scholz’s party

Giorgia Meloni’s party wins EU elections in Italy

Mark my words: Reform will be the next opposition, then government awaits. Something remarkable may happen on election day. We are on the verge of shifting the tectonic plates of politics.                Nigel Farage

So Macron has had a hissy fit - big baby. PMSL 😂

(hope he gets hammered)

Its not that great a thing all these right-wing parties getting into power in the EU,they will all be wanting to get rid of their recent immigrants, they cant send them back to Africa or the Middle-East.I wonder which non-EU country they will send them to?

Scotland? Your company and Aberdeen are crying out for workers as you keep telling us
