Just a quick question, not sure why my original question was deleted from last night, but I will ask it again in another way. 

 

Now that Labour have won the general election, will Kier Starmer call for another referendum to get us back in the EU?

 

Not even sure why my topic was deleted, it's not offensive in anyway.

No.  He's too sensible.  He will try to edge us closer to the dreaded EU by stealth.... new 'accommodating' trade rules etc..

Sorry Starmer and sensible are not two words I tend to connect with. 

 

He spent most of his time as opposition constantly running down any of the Tories leaders, with no plans of how to run a country. 

 

God help us now is all I can say!

He's gone to a lot of trouble to gain power, I doubt he's about to hand it to the unelected Eurocrats.

But it always worries me when a politician says definitively they will not do something.  Since politicians rarely, if ever, do what they say they are going to do, by the same token I always have the suspicion that they will do something which they say they won't.

in the thread about snake-oil, my posts on albendazole was deleted even tho I am pretty sure I am the only one on AB to have given a bendazole to a human -  er c'est la vie, comme ils disent. 

Starmer, noI think he will renegotiate the more stupid paperwork, and there may be a change of heart in the EU as well ( when the facts change, I change my mind, what do you do? JMKeynes)
