A good reason to check everything before hitting the final button. In fairness it can be blessedly difficult on a mobile with it's small screen. Things can be hidden and you have to be extra extra careful.

It's not just pensioners of course. This was an unapproved site unlike Ticketmaster. At least Ticketmaster allow you (so I understand) to resell them back to Ticketmaster at cost price (but I guess without refunding the booking and admin fees and maybe a cancellation charge).

I understand dynamic pricing and can see it's okay for hotels, but it's a to me it stinks for concert tickets- when you've hung on the phone for maybe 12 hours and finally get to the front only to have to make an instant decision on whether to accept or decline the new price which may be three times what you expected, it's easy to be panicked into it, especially if it was a present for someone or you'd promised you'd get them a ticket.  A family memeber got us two tickets and paid a ridiculous price.  If it was me I'd have said no the ransom demand but knowing how much they wanted to treat me and the many hours spent queueing I haven't got the heart to say no thanks now, so I'll probably end up reimbursing them.

I hope the process is banned.

Ticket master are already under investigation after thousands of complaints, but we know investigations tend to fizzal out. It appears people have ordered tickets into there basket online ( my ticket prices are around but you will get the idea) @ £180 each, but due to so many people in the line before you, in this ladies case, she 7,500 waiting, you have to wait before going to checkout. When she got to checkout the price was x2 and more the basket price. Its being investigated because they believe because you've kept waiting so long, you will just say, to hell with it I'll pay whatever.

 You've misssed out the tunes they borrowed from the Las (intro to importance of being idle from clean prophet), Burt Bacharach (half the world away), New Seekers(shakermaker/I'd like to teach...), The Real People (rockin chair), T Rex (cigarettes & alcohol), Lennon (Don't look back in anger). STill love then though- they do it well.
