Labour getting hammered for their hypocrisy. They seem only to have one line - Variations on the supposed black hole £22bn. £21bn of which is their own doing, £9bn to the public sector pay claim  and £11.6bn to foreigners for "climate change initiatives" - none of them seem to be able to correlate that.

Simple logic, atheist.  We all knew that either the Conservatives or Labour would triumph so it's quite obvious that a vote for anything other than Conservative was, in effect, a vote for Labour, and by extension for the disaster that anyone with an iota of sense knew they would inflict upon the country.

Well, when you spend spend spend for 14 years and the money was not here to spend spend spend, there comes a time to pay back pay back pay back. Paying back hurts hurts hurts, and will carry on hurting until one gets back in the black. Whats on the menu for tommorrows moaning?

I feel guilty pleasure in seeing the right wingers having to moan about the elected government of the day. Guilty because schadenfreude is not usually my thing. Anyway, the right wingers will be able to have a go at me and that will no doubt cheer them up.

The economist speaks.  ðŸ˜‚

Atheist, does having voted for this give you pleasure?

Naomi. I didn't vote for the labour motion - I'm not an MP. I didn't vote for Labour this time, either. I did vote against Tory.

Yep, work, earn, spend what you can afford. NO more. Its dead easy.

Naomi; why do you feel able to predict who I vote for?

Funny, dunno how they got in can't find a Labour voter anywhere!

It's called democracy.

Looks like McDonalds are going to sell less happy meals tonight.

Atheist, I didn't say who you voted for.  I said you voted for this.

Naomi, your statement isn't clear. What is 'this'? And how do you know I voted for 'this'?

How were the Tory years "spend, spend, spend" when the left were constantly claiming about austerity?🙄

claiming/complaining

Simple logic, atheist.  We all knew that either the Conservatives or Labour would triumph so it's quite obvious that a vote for anything other than Conservative was, in effect, a vote for Labour, and by extension for the disaster that anyone with an iota of sense knew they would inflict upon the country.

Naomi. If you think so, then so be it. I have to go out for some steel bowl hurling in a minute. Have a nice evening.

You too.  Bye bye.

Logic also tells us that doing the same thing each time (such as voting for one of the dominant parties) isn't going to bring the desired change, since it never has done before; and so the only logical option is to vote for a different party, one closer to your own view, in the hope they will grow to take over (or at least influence).

It's a fair bet that if all those qualified to claim did so it would cost the gov & local authorities many times the cost of the WFA

complete non sequitur - it is known the non-appliers have not applied for a variety of non-economic reasons. i hesitate to say the govt are relying on this.

Atheist, I didn't say who you voted for.  I said you voted for this.- - - - and by extension.... you voted for the party that supplied this - - now who was it a moment ago, extending arguments  way beyond merited

ho hum this is AB on a wet Tuesday night

who turned on the non sequitur tap on this thread?
