Labour inherited the fastest growing economy in Europe on 4th July. Now it's halted. The chancellor predictably blamed the Tories. It was flying when you got hold of it love. Perhaps dishing out inflation public busting raises for doctors and train drivers may explain something!

From the ONS,

"Monthly real gross domestic product (GDP) is estimated to have shown no growth in July 2024, after also showing no growth in June 2024."

It also wasn't growing in the last month of the Tories' time in power then.
