So South Kora Goes To The Dogs...?

Does this surprise anyone? It surprised me - him always being up for a battle - but having listened to him yesterday I think he's not only lost the plot - I think he's scared.

We have their records- Trumps 4 years as President, her 4 years as Vice President, and all they achieved (or didn't achieve), so not sure either of the candidates would gain anything by debating again."
Absolutely.
As well as making the US elecorate think for themselves instead of relying on the Presidential version of the Jeremy Kyle show, it will give us a break here. The BBC devoted a full half of its news bulletins to the nonsense the following day, wheeling ou different "experts" and "analysts" to dissect what was essentially a bear-baiting performance arranged for those of limited intellect.
The only thing you can expect is for each US President to be worse than his predecessor. Getting the candidates to slug it out on TV won't alter that. Hopefully if the nonsensical "debates" are wound up over there, that might spread to the UK as well and we would all be immeasurably better off.
I think he really believes he won the debate and has nothing more to prove.
Swing voters might disagree. They were presented with a sharp witted younger woman and an older chap more preoccupied with something akin to cannibalism, eating pets, than issues that might have wounded his opponent. Security on the southern border, for instance.
And for those who say debates don't matter, one finished Biden.
"And for those who say debates don't matter, one finished Biden."
And that's precisiely why they shouldn't matter.
It was clear long before the fatal debate that Biden was not up to snuff. I recognised that and I haven't the slightest interest in US politics. US electors should be more vigilant and not rely on bear baiting TV programmes.
Biden lost the first debate but the Democrats were just in time to replace him.
A similar thing happened to Trump in the second one (he lost the plot) but unfortunately for the Republicans, it is far too late to ditch him. They are stuck with a lame duck candidate who already looks beat.
Pity the poor voters in November ☹️
