Cleverly would have been a terrible choice. I've met him and I never trust a man (or woman) who talks to you with their hands in theoir pockets. Also srtuck me as a person with the most inappropiate name.

Personally I don't give a damn if she can or can't do that, the country needs fixing first and foremost.
What has she every done ? Her prime qualification for leadership seems to be that she once worked at MacDonald's.
Maybe she talks the talk, but as Dominic Cummings once said, " Putting on a good show on Newsnight for a politician, is far more important than fixing a serious problem."
did the BBC News subtitle creator inadvertently get it right?

You really do have in in for Kemi dont you Khandro, the "dreadlocks" perhaps?
I am alsomunsure why you just cherry picked her sting in MAccy Ds' here is a bit more:
Software engineer at Logica 2003 to 2006.
Systems analyst at the RBS
Associate director at Coutts to 2013
Digital director for The Spectaro 2015 to 2016.
What else would you like her to have done to be more suitable?
And she will strike fear into Labour, none of them, apart from maybe Wes and Rosie (who has now gone) are anywhere near up to her.
"I wonder why she didn't last long in any of those wide variety of jobs ?"
Many people, especially those who go into politics, tend not to staay in jobs for lengthy periods. They prefer a "varied" career.
At least she has experience in the private sector - hopefully enough to understand that it is business that creates wealth and provides money for government to spend and not the other way round.
